General Description

Humour Closet Media, Inc. ("Sponsor") is the sponsor of the Humour Closet Contest ("Contest") and is the producer of "Humour Closet" ("HC"), a television and digital programming brand featuring user-generated content ("UGC"). Sponsor is seeking submissions by members of the public of their pre-existing UGC showing funny and/or unique non-staged events for possible inclusion in Sponsor's programming.

Eligibility

The Contest is only open to individuals who are:

• Legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding Rhode Island and all other U.S. territories
• Thirteen (13) years of age or older
• Located in the United States or the District of Columbia at the time of entry

Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Sponsor and its affiliates are not eligible. Any entrant under the age of majority must obtain consent from their parent or legal guardian before submitting.

Promotion Period

The Contest occurs four (4) times each year:

• March 1 – ends May 31
• June 1 – ends August 31
• September 1 – ends November 30
• December 1 – ends February 28

All videos must be received by Sponsor on or before the applicable deadline to be eligible. Deadline dates are subject to change at Sponsor's sole discretion.

How to Enter

During the Promotion Period, complete the entry form on the Humour Closet website in full, include your video submission, and submit. Automated entries are prohibited. Entrants may not enter with multiple names or identities — any such entrant will be disqualified.

Submission Requirements

By submitting content, you warrant that:

• Content complies with these Official Rules
• Content is not sexually explicit, unnecessarily violent, derogatory, profane, pornographic, or contains nudity or materially dangerous activity
• Content does not demonstrate cruelty towards animals
• Content does not depict or constitute a violation of any law

Entry Terms / Licensed Rights

All submissions become the sole property of Sponsor. By submitting an entry, entrant grants Sponsor the exclusive, unlimited right to use, edit, distribute, broadcast, reproduce, license, advertise, and otherwise exploit the content in any and all media throughout the world, in perpetuity. Entrant warrants they are the sole, exclusive owner of all rights in the submission and that no part of the content infringes any trademark, copyright, or other right of any person or entity.

Judging & Winner Notification

Each eligible video will be judged by a qualified panel based equally on:

• Uniqueness
• Emotional reaction felt by the viewer
• Appropriateness for Sponsor's channels of distribution

The highest-scoring entrant will be declared the winner, subject to verification. Potential winners will be notified by email or telephone approximately thirty (30) days after the end of the Contest period.

Prize

Prize is paid by check or PayPal within ninety (90) days of the close of the Contest period. Prizes are non-transferable. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes and will be issued an IRS 1099 Tax Form. Please allow 6–8 weeks for prize delivery following winner confirmation.

Binding Arbitration

Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Contest shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the JAMS Rules and Procedures. The arbitrator shall apply California law. All disputes will be resolved individually — no class actions permitted.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A. Any matters not subject to arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles, California.
